  • When you chose Hartman and Herrick to do your home inspection there will be two certified home inspectors at your inspection. 
  • Working together we cover the same spaces twice making our inspections more thorough.
  • At the conclusion of our inspection, we will spend time with you touring the property with a summary of the inspection. If you're not available, we can do a video chat or call and walk you through the report.
  • We are flexible and are willing to work weekends to ensure you have the time to make your decision, especially  if you have a deadline.
  • ​You will receive your report within 24 hours of the inspection.

Home Inspection
Being licensed NYS home inspectors, we can provide you with a detailed and informative report on all of the systems of your home for all of your needs. Our comprehensive reports can provide the peace of mind needed when purchasing or selling a home.  We offer both Home Inspections for prospective buyers and offer Pre-Inspections for sellers.  We will take the time it requires to give you all the information you need to move forward.​
Radon Gas Testing/Mitigation
​Radon gas, a common colorless and odorless gas that is a carcinogen, is often found in a home, and the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer.  We can measure the air in your home for the presence of this gas and offer services to help mitigate the gas, if found at levels above the current acceptable range.
Our equipment is NRPP/NRSB certified and some of the most accurate available.  We are Nationally Accredited Professionals to measure radon and install removal systems.
Septic System Tracing
If your home has a private septic system, not connected to public sewers, we can trace your septic lines using septic dye to see if your septic system is performing properly.
Water Quality Testing
If you have questions or concerns about the quality of the water in your home, we can sample the water in your home to test for the presence of several chemical, biological, and/or mineral contaminates.  If found, we can provide consultation on several ways to filter out or mitigate the contaminates in your water to provide safe, clean water for you and your family.
